Peita is a newly appointed Solicitor in our Trusts and Estates Team, having graduated from the University of Otago in 2025 and she is working out of the Nelson Office. She brings fresh perspectives, strong legal acumen and genuine enthusiasm to the firm, along with her understanding of dedication, discipline and high performance developed through years of top level sport.
Peita is an accomplished equestrian and semi-professional showjumper, having been immersed in the equestrian world throughout her entire life. She has represented New Zealand on High Performance squads and competed at the top level of show jumping, this has taught her resilience, patience and the importance of a strong work ethic. Peita has coached for the last 8 years which has influenced how she approaches different situations with an open mind and adaptability. She is excited to bring those skills she has gained into practice here at Hamish.Fletcher Lawyers.
