Jennie is the Team Leader of our Trusts and Estates Team, and an Associate of the firm. She has a wealth of experience in managing family trusts and assisting clients with estate planning. Jennie aims to ensure that our clients understand what a trust is, how the Trusts Act 2019 impacts on their trust, and how it can help them to manage their family wealth and protect their assets.
Jennie enjoys building relationships with our clients and their families; watching them grow, understanding their family dynamics, ensuring that their assets are structured in a way that fits with their family values, and being there to assist when needed.
Jennie considers estate planning is like a jigsaw. There are some pieces that fit easily and some that do not. Her aim is to help our clients complete that jigsaw, giving them assurance that their picture is complete and, should the worst happen, everything will be taken care of.
Jennie arrived in Nelson in September 2005 from the United Kingdom with her husband and two children. In her spare time she loves to cook for friends and family at home, or spend time at their family bach in the Marlborough Sounds.
